Mirena Ossorno

I work at the intersection of culture, consciousness, and communication.

My work begins with a simple observation: many of the issues we experience today — personal, cultural, and political — emerge from how we interpret reality, what we prioritize, and the frameworks we use to make sense of the world.

Through writing, research, and dialogue, I explore how culture shapes our understanding of well-being, creativity, and meaning. This includes questioning dominant narratives within the wellness industry, the creative sector, and the broader systems that define how we live and relate to one another.

Rather than offering answers, my work focuses on developing discernment — the ability to see more clearly, to differentiate between facts and interpretations, and to understand how different layers of reality interact.

This approach informs everything I do: from essays and editorial work to talks, interviews, and curated gatherings.

I am the founder of Not a vessel, a cultural and consciousness-led project, and the creator of Como la flor, an editorial platform exploring wellbeing beyond conventional frameworks.

My writing has been published in VEIN Magazine, i-D, VICE, La Vanguardia, and ICON (El País), among others.
